Lakeview lodge can be found in the heart of the country side in unspoiled and beautiful surroundings overlooking Lough Gowna in county Longford/ Cavan.

Lough Gowna is a complex of interconnected lakes that are the head waters of the Erne system. Lough Gowna has been the venue for all Ireland coarse fishing championships, the king of clubs competitions and the BBC/RTE TV series "Get Hooked".

Lough Gowna has many well known visiting anglers, every year. Visiting angler Paul Gustafson's, made one of many pike fishing videos here in 2007, where he fished lough Gowna & Lough Ramor, with fish up to 23lbs.

There are also many other lakes surrounding Lough Gowna which also hold large stocks of bream, Roach, Hybrids, Perch, Tench, Eels, Pike & Brown Trout.

Beautiful Lough Sheelin is only a short drive away, which is well known for it's wild brown trout and big pike.
